To touch upon Jeannes comment in the Sarah Palin Boot discussion-
" Boots
are a dilemma. Unless your legs measure at least 36 inches short boots
cut your legs. Calf length boots emphasize the fattest part of the leg,
and over the knee boots....well, remember Pretty Woman.
So where do we go with the boots?"
Great question. Quite frankly if boots aren't flattering on you then don't buy them. They may seem universal but in fact, it's the opposite. If you have larger calves, you're screwed, if you don't have the right jeans, you look awkward and truthfully ankle boots with dresses and skirts is a youthful trend. If you ride horses, have a lot of yard work pick up a pair of black or brown boots. Otherwise wear your dresses with tights/nylons and heels/flats-its that simple.
