So maybe you're thinking (like me) that it's time to consider getting news from someone in addition to Jon Stewart. Just as I used to pretend The West Wing was my government, I made the Daily Show my primary news source. It was either that or join the Prozac parade. Now, with the prospect of an adult administration and an honest to god plan for running the country, perhaps it's safe to visit a real news show again.
If you haven't yet found the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC, she's a good place to start. Sharp, witty, insightful,gutsy--she could be a female John Stewart except she's not making stuff up. She does hard news and does it well. True style and substance at work here.
