uhg. I honestly loved reading Page Six Magazine, even though I had to go out of my way to get copies of it (the Sunday NY Post is not easily found on the West Coast). I didn't care much for the celebrity profiles, but I know they sell issues so had no beef with them. Clearly I'm biased, but the fashion pages delighted me. I loved seeing neighborhood styles and learning how to make my summer clothes last beyond August. I trusted the advice (which is far more than I can say of most other fashion mags). Maybe they are being truthful and will continue as a quarterly. That might not be a bad course for others to follow as well--I mean, how often do you need to relearn the 437 Things Men Want in Bed?
Fortunately for all the talented editors at Page Six, the world loves stylish minds. You have a thousand new options in your life, starting with blogs, twitters, websites and podcasts. No, the web doesn't pay well yet for most, but it can if you commit to making it work for you.
If you are looking to escape to Marrakesh, I am certain that your style and wit would blow Morocco away. Sorry to hear that Page Six folded (as a sometimes employee), but you should be so proud of all the work you did there. You really have a wonderful sylistic vision.
Post script: Please excuse all spelling, on a crazy keyboard and I can't figure out the spell check.
