I'm in the process of planning a wedding - well more of a party, heavy on food, wine, dancing-light on religion, vows and veils. Most of it is fun, some of it is painful, like looking for dresses. There is SO MUCH UGLY out there ladies. I mean...how is it possible? I'd like to share with you the biggest offender DISNEY FAIRY TALE WEDDING DRESSES.
Call me what you like but if you want to dress like Sleeping Beauty on your wedding day, you have issues. Deep, brewing, gonna explode sometime down the road issues.
get a really fabulous couture cocktail dress. You could at least wear that again. One that you can chop off the bottom when you are done... since it will be all dirty from all the dancing you will be partaking in... I know you are rolling on that rug like Taylor does at me giving you advice about clothes. ok... back to the docs. xo.

As I am also currently in the process, I completely agree. It's not only the dress though. So much of the idea of wedding has far too much sparkle, pink and taffeta. The whole princess thing leaves me baffled. It is my belief that women who need to feel like a Disney Princess (ie horse drawn coach and tiara) are not mature enough to get married.
